I am a young I-Kiribati who loves his country, and that is why I have created “Trade Kiribati”.
Are you someone looking to buy or sell new or second-hand items online in your area? If yes, you are probably as frustrated as I have been. For many years I was trying to buy and sell things online in Kiribati, but there aren’t any marketplaces. Then, I had the opportunity to travel and live abroad in places which have many marketplaces and it hit me. If I really want to have the same tool in my country, I will just have to do it myself. So here is Trade Kiribati, the only listing website in the country. I really want to highlight that this website is for everyone and not just businesses.
Though, I have taken the opportunity not only to offer listing for products, but also for vehicles, services, jobs, and if this is not what you need, there is a “I’m looking for” section where you can post about anything you wish. I plan to add more features in the future with your support.
I have allowed businesses to put paid advertisements in order to support the platform and to allow all users to access listings for free. I know you don’t like ads, and to be honest me neither, but what I dislike more is to pay to access listings and so do you, right? So, please bear with the advertisements as they allow this website to remain free for you to access listings. I chose to be fully transparent with you, so you know exactly how the website works and you won’t have any surprises.
My wish is to make trade easier and, to connect people and businesses together to improve the I-Kiribati people’s lives.
